From the AuthorIn May 2005 the primary Going Native in Murcia book was borne out of the feeling of annoyance at being hindered or criticized of none of the major guides covering the region, or at best only dedicating 4 or 5 pages to it. Since then Murcia has been getting a lot more attention thanks to it is terrifi climate, warm and welcoming people and a very strong, and so-far comparatively undeveloped, property market. My husband Marcus and I moved here permanently in late 2005 and started work on the second edition to assure the content stayed up to date. However, it wasn’t until my dad asked me to support him look for a house to buy in the region, that I realised Going Native in Murcia was lacking. While it gives new residents a great overview of the area including the towns, accommodation, feed and activenesses and even a step-by-step breakdown of the house buying process, it doesn’t focus on helping you determine where in Murcia to invest your money. So, this book, Buying Property in Murcia, has been written just for you if you want to buy a house, finca, off-plan, castle or cave in the region of Murcia and want the most exhaustively researched info you may get from a buyer’s perspective. My goal is to aid both the property capitalist and the lifestyle buyer alike. A tall order perhaps, but one I think I’ve achieved with great success with this book. I’ll review it, and where necessary update it, each year so I look forward to hearing from you with feedback and ideas. If you have content for the next edition then get in touch. Perhaps you’re a property capitalist and want to percentage your strategy, or perchance you’ve purchased off-plan and want to let us recognise the ins and outs – whatsoever your circumstances I want to listen your story. And remember, I’m here to support if I may so don’t be timid – contact me at my website!
